Getting started
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store, select content on a page, press the shortcut, and paste the Markdown wherever you need it. Open the extension options to pick a conversion profile and adjust shortcuts.

- How do I install the extension?
- Use the Chrome Web Store listing linked above. After installation, pin the extension if you like, then try selecting a paragraph on any normal HTTPS page and using the shortcut.
- How do the shortcuts work?
- By default the page shortcut is Option+C on macOS and Alt+Con Windows and Linux. You can change this on the options page, or switch to a browser-managed command and assign it in your browser's shortcut settings (for example
chrome://extensions/shortcuts). Standard copy chords are not overridden unless you explicitly allow that. - Which browsers are supported?
- Chrome / Chromium is the primary supported browser. A Firefox Manifest V3 build exists and is maintained for users who prefer Firefox. A Safari build exists, but Safari support is gated—having a build does not mean broad Safari support is offered yet.
- Why did copy fail on a page?
- Some pages cannot host content scripts—browser UI (
chrome://, settings, extension pages), store listings, built-in PDF/Reader views, and pages where site access was denied. Clipboard writes also require a secure context on most browsers (HTTPS). - What are AI-ready, Faithful, and Referenced profiles?
- AI-ready trims tracking URLs and manages image tokens for AI context. Faithful keeps more of the original URLs and structure. Referenced applies AI-ready cleanup and always adds a source note. Change the active profile in the options page.
